A true classic when it comes to nursey rooms, Dulux found that white furniture is still as popular as ever, appearing in 31 percent of posts. Versatile for any age, all-white furniture adds a bright and airy feel to the space, and allows you to get creative with bright accessories and patterns elsewhere in the room.

Appearing in 27 percent of Instagram posts, another nursey room staple for many people is rattan furniture and decor. From rattan bassinets to rustic accessories, rattan is an excellent way to add depth and texture to the space.

Add a breath of fresh air to your nursery space by incorporating houseplants. Seen in a quarter (25 percent) of Instagram posts, plants are a great way to bring some color and and a touch of nature into the room. If you’re not fond of real houseplants, artificial plants will do the trick.
