We’ve been captivated by the impressive under-the-radar Milo Dutch oven from Kana for over a year now, amazed by its elegant design, excellent heat-retention, and budget-friendly $135 price point. After our friends at The Kitchn tested it, it quickly earned a spot on their list of the best Dutch ovens as an overall solid choice for anyone looking for a great enameled cast iron Dutch oven that won’t cost as much as other brands. Now, to make the Milo Dutch oven even more of a winner, the direct-to-consumer brand has released a whopping six new colors, just in time for spring.

We came across Kana last year and have been impressed with their cast iron cookware and kitchen accessories ever since. Not only do they have their line of Milo cookware, but they also offer pre-cut parchment sheets that we think are so handy for any type of baking. To expand their offerings even further, Kana has released their most gorgeous colorways yet.

While their neutral tones were sleek and perfect for any kitchen, their new shades are great for anyone who wants a pop of color. For instance, we can’t get enough of the eye-catching Fresh Terracotta and Dijon that will get so many compliments at your next dinner party. They’ve also released Dusty Pink and Eucalyptus, softer shades that also happen to look spring-ready. And for anyone who likes to stick to the basics, they’ve added a shiny Black Gloss and simple grey Pebble for classic looks.

When the editors at The Kitchn put the Milo Dutch oven to the test, they found that it browned and seared meat beautifully, retained heat well without burning food, and cleaned up easily. It has the classic enameled cast iron design with a white satin enamel finish on the interior, so you can easily check on the doneness of your food, and senior editor Danielle is obsessed with hers. “I’ve had my 5.5-quart white Milo for over two years now and have used it at least once a week, if not more!” she reports. “This Dutch oven is my go-to for every soup and stew I make, as it browns veggies and meat bits beautifully. Aesthetically, it’s also chic enough to leave out on display on my stovetop. Even after constant use, its gloss-enameled finish on both the exterior and the interior hasn’t chipped or cracked. I’ve recommended it to many friends and family members.”

In addition to the Dutch oven, this Kana color launch also includes other Milo cookware offerings. Their compact Mini Dutch, a 3.5-quart Dutch oven ideal when cooking for one or two,  is also available in the six new colors. Plus, their 10-Inch Ultimate Skillet now comes in all six finishes. It’s an under-$100 cast iron skillet ideal for pan-frying, baking, braising, and more. Finally, you can also invest in matching sets of cookware, with bundles available of just two or all three.

While we already would recommend the Milo Dutch oven to just about anyone, especially those looking for a budget-friendly option, now we have six more gorgeous reasons to say yes!
