Los Angeles Spanish Revival Home with a Minimalistic Twist

The dining room continues the couple’s minimal aesthetic. They warmed up the room with a colored rug and curtains to add more warmth. The furniture is simplistic and made of natural materials. The room feels organic without looking too bare.

The most used room in their house is the kitchen. They host friends and family for game nights. Their kitchen is opened and flows into their breakfast room. They wanted the space to be functional for their growing family.

The bathroom renovation was the most difficult. They knocked down walls and moved plumbing to completely transform their primary bathroom. It features a Cipollino marble sink with Brizo faucets. The shower is made of travertine tile that flows to the floor. The finishing touch was the curtains from The Shade Store.

The most colorful room in the home is the nursery. Despite the entire home being neutral tones and white. The couple wanted the baby’s room to be vibrant and fun. They chose the color green because it wasn’t the stereotypical color for a boy.

I’m always interested in seeing how celebrities decorate their homes. The celebrity trend is all about minimalism. They have similar color schemes of neutral tones and organic textures. The less clutter the better. I do wonder how long the trend will last before celebrities move on to the next big thing in interior design.
