Kaley Cuoco Fetches $16 Million for Hidden Hills Modern Farmhouse

[ad_1]

After just two years in her Hidden Hills home, The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has sold the modern farmhouse for a substantial profit. According to Dirt, she and her ex-husband Karl Cook have fetched $16.2 million for the house, which they bought when it was newly built two short years ago for $11.75 million. The fact that they were the first residents of the home means it is unlikely they needed to spend much money on renovations, making their profit all the more significant.

Since both their purchase and sale were off market deals, few details about the interiors are available to the public, though it’s reported that the nearly 11,000 square foot space contains six bedrooms and six bathrooms. A mix of gray bricks and slate-colored siding are used on the home’s exterior to add texture, while white picket fence is employed to add a level of hominess to the otherwise sophisticated visage. Indoors is similarly neutral and chic, with black framed sliding glass doors, ornamental wood beams in the living room, and white built in bookshelves. Upstairs, the primary bedroom enjoys a fireplace and a spacious balcony overlooking the backyard.

Both Cuoco and Cook are practiced equestrians, and each own ranches of their own in different parts of California, so the farmhouse-style space was well-suited for the now split up couple. Out back, there’s a large lawn, a pool, a hot tub, and a barbecue pavilion, along with a guesthouse. Half of this space is covered in concrete patio stones, creating ample space for poolside entertaining.
