Did Tristan Thompson Just Buy a House Near Khloé Kardashian?

[ad_1]

Fan speculation about the status of Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s on-again, off-again relationship won’t be stopping any time soon. According to The Sun, the pro basketballer allegedly paid $12.5 million last month for a sprawling 10,584-square-foot mansion just two miles away from Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home. Whether that means Thompson and Kardashian are an item again or simply angling for more convenient co-parenting, records seem to show that the trust used to buy the property is tied to Thompson.

The contemporary-style six-bedroom and 10-bathroom house sits on a nearly 1.5-acre lot on a secluded cul-de-sac near the ever-expanding Kardashian-Jenner compound where Khloé, Kris, and Kylie all own neighboring properties. Listing photos reveal that the stately white home opens into a double-height entry featuring black and white checkerboard stone floors and a huge crystal chandelier. A nearby formal living room enjoys a white marble fireplace and a row of tall windows with backyard rose garden views. Near the oval-shaped formal dining room, a refrigerated walk-in wine cellar is complete with bespoke wood details and a chandelier. Meanwhile, the eat-in chef’s kitchen boasts not one, but two massive wood-topped islands and a nearby breakfast nook.

Other highlights include a primary suite outfitted with dual bathrooms and walk-in closets, a game room complete with a wet bar, a home theater, a gym, a guest suite with a separate entrance, and a five-car garage with a bonus bathroom. Outside, the massive swimming pool connects to a circular spa bordered by a spacious stone-paved patio. A nearby covered loggia decked out with a fireplace and a TV is a newer addition to the property.

It seems likely that the star athlete will be making his mark on the dwelling if he is behind the sale, seeing as the deed details plans of development and the interiors reflect the 2010-era aesthetics from when the home was built. Last year, Thompson sold his home in Encino, California, for $7.9 million.
