Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Our home is a huge burst of our diverse personalities. We are a very lively and eclectic household. We love art and put it everywhere in our home — it’s a mixture of gifted, purchased, and created work — and we encourage a love of art among our children, who we homeschool.

My vibe is definitely reflected throughout our home, from the art that is everywhere to the deep, bold color palette.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: My home style is eclectic, layered, and moody.

What is your favorite room and why? My absolute favorite room is our moody and eclectic den. The colors are striking, with the navy walls and salmon-colored ceiling, and it houses a beautiful mix of vintage furniture and various textures.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last item we purchased is our Sloan Sofa in our den from Interior Define.

Any advice for creating a home you love? My greatest advice is to practice patience. It is so tempting to start adding items to a space before truly spending time in it or thoroughly researching the things that complement your personality. Many mistakes are made when we move on impulse instead of intention.
