Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Frank and I are vintage dealers (we sale and ship worldwide) and we love our job that brings us around. During the first lockdown in Germany our two cats gave birth to nine kittens and because we couldn‘t decide which one we wanted like to keep, we ended up keeping three… so now we live with our senior cat, two adult cats, and three kittens.
Our job is to find then sale vintage treasures mainly from the 1950s to 1980s, specifically Scandinavian and Italian design icons but also just stuff we think is nice and sometimes even antique. To find the hot stuff we travel mainly to Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and around Germany but also to France and Italy. I am the type of person that says: “I want to keep it” and Frank is more of the type: “We live by selling, not by keeping.”
Our house is covered in pastel with a hint of neon and we do mix and match. It’s Italian design meets Danish classics combined with a touch of ancient and antique elements.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Mid-century modern sophisticated pastels
What is your favorite room and why? The whole house besides the tiny old kitchen because of the light…
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? A vintage Boalum by Artemide
