DJ Calvin Harris Asking $25 Million For East Coast-Inspired Beverly Hills Compound

[ad_1]

DJ Calvin Harris has spent the last eight years remodeling his 2.69 acre Beverly Hills compound, but he’s ready to let it go. According to the Los Angeles Times, the musician listed the property earlier this week for $25 million, a full $10 million more than he purchased it for in 2014.

The endlessly sprawling property features five structures and practically every amenity you could hope for. A home gym, basketball court, solar dome, home movie theater, two recording studios, and a pool are among the many facilities on the grounds. With 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms spread between the main and guest houses, there’s plenty of room for visitors and residents to enjoy it all. The home’s traditional style offsets the modernity of the amenities, as in the impressive living area that flaunts coffered ceilings, exposed brick, herringbone hardwood floors and an abundance of built-in bookshelves. The primary suite is particularly decadent, with vaulted beamed ceilings, a fireplace and french doors out to the backyard, along with dual bathrooms and walk-in closets. According to the LA Times, Harris is responsible for the thoughtful design of the space as he remodeled it during his ownership.

The estate’s hillside location and accompanying views adds to the beauty of the outdoor space, which offers a pergola and BBQ station along with the aforementioned features. Immediately in front of the home’s entrance is a spacious vegetable garden located for optimal sunlight. Skylights are spread throughout the home to bring as much of that brightness to the interiors, too.
